The piano was built on May 27, 1880 and sold to William Spies of 138 Clinton St., Brooklyn, New York on November 21, 1880. I purchased the piano in rebuilt condition from the Piano Outlet in Burbank, California in 1996 for $25,000.  During the time of my ownership we have had the finish touched up and replaced a couple of strings. One key is stuck as a result of a recent move but should be an easy fix on tuning. This beautiful piano is currently located in the Los Angeles, Ca. area.
