The Mark VI tenor is a modern icon of saxophones. Made popular by jazz greats by the score, the Mark VI is generally considered the finest saxophone ever made, and pristine examples can command prices well in excess of $12000. This saxophone is awesome. The look of this horn is evocative of smoky bars and jam sessions, and a horn that looks like this confers instant street cred. The lacquer that remains (maybe 30%) is original and tells a story of countless professional gigs. Serial number is 126460. Neck is original and the serial numbers match.
