The Mark VI tenor is a modern icon of saxophones. Made popular by jazz greats throughput history, the Mark VI is generally considered the finest saxophone ever made, and pristine examples can command prices well in excess of $12000, and saxes of the five-digit vintage like this one (82034) are generally considered the best instruments. This saxophone is in excellent condition. I believe it has been relacquered and reengraved, but it looks _great_ and I see no signs of buffing. There are no real major dents to speak of but a few minor ones and see the pics for the body condition. Pads and action are very good and this horn plays great as is.
