Description
MODERN Accordion by BORSINI Here is a high quality professional accordion built in Italy by BORSINI. This instrument is truly excellent. The keyboard is smooth and easy to play. The hand made reeds allow for subtle nuances in your performance. All reeds, wax, leathers are in excellent condition. The whole instrument is clean and shiny. The compression is like on a brand new accordion. The beauty of the tone has to be appreciated in person. The tone modulator gives a very nice mellow flavor. The reeds are so strong that with the tone modulator closed you are not power starved and have that nostalgic Excelsior sound from the 50s.  Excellent hand-made reeds 3 treble sets of reeds - LMM - concert (dry) tuned 5 sets of bass reeds 41 keys, 19-3/8" keyboard - silent, level, with smooth action; white key tops; the felt in all key pads is in perfect condition for noise free keyboard operation. Notice the nice round edges Tone Modulator - high quality wooden construction - the classic Excelsior design 18 treble switches (2 groups of 9, repeated in alternative order to easy access): Mute Open, Bassoon (L), Bandoneon (LM1), Accordion (LM2), Musette (LM1M2), Violin (M1M2), Clarinet (M1), Flute (M2), and Mute Closed - 14 distinct treble sounds with the tone modulator open or closed Palm Master (LMM) 120 bass - all bass board wholes are lined with felt for a silent bass machine operation 6 bass registers Large volume 17-fold bellows - clean, no leaks Backpad for bellows protection Excellent compression Hard shell case and leather padded straps in very good condition 24-25 lb - slim body design, perfectly balanced and a pleasure to play for hours The knobs on the grill are not connected to microphones. This is an acoustic instrument. Part of the letter "N" in the front is broken. I have the piece and will be fixing this cosmetic issue so that the new owner will not have to be concerned. This accordion is ready for professional performance. Every single detail of the craftsmanship is to be admired and appreciated. The same Borsini model ordered today will cost more than $5000.
