The violin is in very good condition, comes with two certificates of origin, recently appraised on line by another expert, see link at http://www.wiw2u.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=appraisal.certificate&item_ID=170205.  The measurements of the violinaires: 23 1/2 inches top to bottom, 8 1/8 inches across lower half, 6 1/2 across upper half, 4 9/16 across the middle, 14 3/16 inches from the bottom to the beginning of the neck.  This is powerful violin with beautiful sound which is in my opinion rather on the dark side. The instrument is good enough for any job and for any professional violinist. The violin will be very well packed and insured.
