Description
1989 Baldwin Model R Grand 5'8" in Satin Walnut Finish $10,500. Excellent, almost like-new, condition, inside and out. Beautiful matched walnut veneers. Very clean, and very little wear on parts. Keytops are in excellent condition. Cabinet is in exceptional condition. (see pictures). Piano has been recently tuned and serviced. Sound is rich and full, with a deep bass and clear singing tone throughout the range. Action is quick and responsive. Tuning pins are nice and snug, soundboard, bridges, and ribs are in excellent condition. Strings are very clean, and bass strings are very live. This is a serious instrument for artist/professional use. (This model is one of Baldwin's "Artist" grands. Compare with their new model R1, which retails at around $40,000. to $50,000., depending on finish.) Piano has been lovingly cared for, and tuned regularly. Has been in the home since new.
