Brazilian rosewood fretboard with a perfect refret. Mahogany slab body in a still vibrant but extremely worn cherry original finish. Other tuners were on her at one point but the original Kluson single lines are back on now. Electronics are all original, the pots all have 1959 date codes. The harness is the same harness that would be gracing a 1959 les paul standard worth $300,000. The original P90s growl like a rock and roll machine should. Original pickguard and knobs. No breaks or repairs. Super light 7.3 pounds. Headstock still says "les paul special" but it is quite faded. Plays like an absolute dream. If you want a mint collector guitar this is not for you. If you want an amazing player with an original cherry body finish and no breaks this is an affordable player that lays down tones that are beyond reissue or newer instruments. Comes in a non-original but older gibson case (see pictures).
