FIRST FLIGHT MUSIC ● MANHATTAN, NEW YORK ● 212.539.1383Gibson 1958 Les Paul Jr. – Sunburst - Single Cutaway - w/ 50’s Gibson Gator Chipboard Case! This is a 1958 Les Paul Jr. single cutaway model in sunburst finish. It’s entirely original apart from the strap buttons and perhaps the input jack plate. The dog-ear P90 pickup, tuning machines, pots, wiring, tailpiece, and frets are all very clean and original to this guitar. This Les Paul Jr. is in ‘very good plus’ condition. There have been absolutely no repairs, cracks or breaks. This guitar has finish wear typical of age. The body, neck and headstock have light scrapes and scratches throughout as well as a several larger dings on the body (pictured), one chip in the neck (pictured) and one larger chip to the headstock (pictured). The back of the body has some worming/buckle rash and there is light pitting on the tailpiece but no grooves at all. The neck and fingerboard are very straight with correct intonation and extremely clean frets. This Les Paul Jr. plays and sounds fabulous. Even unplugged this guitar is wonderfully resonant. It’s exceptionally loud and clean and a real collector’s or player’s dream. It has recently been setup by a technician with .009s. We're including a 50's Gibson chipboard gator case with working latches. The handle is broken. We professionally pack and ship all our items.
