Description
Rlisted due to  the winning bidder never contacting us. Here's a very, very nice two tone 1957 Fender Stratocaster.  Guitar was purchased from the estate of our dear friend Bernie Brausewetter (Googe him!).  Bernie was was a great friend and an incredible guitarist, a master of the Stratocaster.  This is his 1957 Strat. Guitar is original. Original finish. Original electronics. Guitar was pro refretted (nice sized frets, not oversized). Neck had a slight overspray overspray at the time of the refret. No big deal, but also the reason we are not asking $45000 for this guitar. Decal is original and the headstock was NOT oversprayed.  Bernie had the guitar in a circa 1959 tweed strat case, which you also get. Non original trem bar. Small Tip of  original pickguard missing at upper treble bout.  This is a great looking, sounding and playing 1957 two tone Stratocaster and a reasonable price. Hoboken Vintage 201-222-8977   Hoboken Vintage 201-222-8977 We often get asked: Why are shipping costs so high? Well, first of all, we want you to get your guitar in one piece. So we use NEW boxes ($10 each) and new packing peanuts and bubblewrap. I also have an employee who packs guitars and amps like the pro that he is. Also, fuel prices have gone up alot, and UPS has passed this cost on to us.We also insure our items against loss or breakage. OK? Overseas bidders: here's the deal. You MAY bid.  However, you must follow the rules of my auction. Please do NOT ask me to adjust the price so you can avoid paying import/VAT taxes.  I will NOT break the law.  Do not even think of asking me to declare a $5000 guitar for $600. No exceptions. Also, you will pay actual shipping prices via UPS ONLY. It's expensive, around $300 because of rising fuel costs. I DO NOT ship United States Postal service. They have lost our last guitar.  I insure our guitars for full price, to protect both of us if the guitar is lost or broken in transit.  We love our Europeon customers, but please don't ask us to break the law.  With the U.S. dollar at 1.55/Euro, you're getting a deal already. Thank you.
