I'm not exactly sure, but it appears that this trumpet was built by Courtois for Holton. The valve section was definitely built by Courtois. If anyone knows for sure, please email. Holton has been making fantastic trumpets for over 100 years, and has been endorsed by some of the finest players, including Al Hirt and Maynard Ferguson. Anyway, this nice Holton trumpet has just been professionally chemically flushed/cleaned/serviced/inspected and play tested. Also, new valve felts, valve springs and spit valve corks have been added. The original lacquer finish looks pretty nice for it's age, with some typical wear here and there. A few small dents have been professionally removed, and a few super tiny dings remain. The valve plating is fantastic and the compression is very good as well. Comes in the original tweed style case in very good condition but one latch needs a new spring. Also comes with the original Holtomn Collegiate trumpet mouthpiece. Thanks for looking!! Place a Bid!
