JR JUNIOR GUITAR' Description 1955 (2nd year issue) Gibson Les Paul Junior guitar offered at no reserve!!!  In terms of condition, a vintage guitar store owner (who has had a LOT of Les Paul Juniors over the years) said this one rates in the top 10 % of Juniors he's seen!  Finish still has nice lustre and shine!  Sounds/plays GREAT with low action the length of the fretboard and has unusually good intonation for a Les Paul Junior with original bridge!  HIGHLY resonant guitar that is a pleasure play both plugged and unplugged!  I love Les Pauls but the older I get the more I can appreciate one that is nice and light!  This one weighs in at just 7.7 lbs!!!  Original pots date to 1954 (codes 6154781 and 6154190) with untouched solder joints. Professional re-fret with frets in great shape.  Has buckle wear, checking (top only) nicks, scratches and edge wear expected for a 53 year old Les Paul.   Tuners, nut, knobs and truss rod cover replaced (truss rod works fine). One small reglued chip by bridge post.  Overspray on back of neck.
