New Page 0 This is an all original parts '53 Blackguard Tele refin ! It's sounds absolutely amazing, like a great blackguard should, but cheaper by virtue of the perfect refin ! It has that fantastic '53 profile neck that we all know and love, and plays like an SOB ! This one still has the original neck pocket markings as well as the original date at the end of the neck. It's a refretted guitar with a newer nut but the original nut is included ! This is a no nonsense, "Real Deal", '53 Blackguard refin with all original parts down to the switch tip. It still has the router hump in the cutaway, the original '53 brass saddles carved away at the bottom on the two outside saddles for the high and low "E" strings for adjustment clearance, date coded 25th week of '53 pots, switch, cap, pickups, tuners, bridge, pickguard, strap pins, knobs, control plate, neck plate, all screws, even the string guide is the original ! If your looking for an awesome blackguard for a player piece and just do not want to spend $65 or $70 K, this may be the guitar for you ! All original parts, all the tone and playability, and less than 1/2 the price ! If you haven't already seen it, take a good look at the photo of the inside of the control cavity and you'll see the original piece of dated masking tape signed by Gloria STILL in there, as refins go, it just does not get any better than this !!!
